Anyone heard of PrepStar? Looks like a recruiting service that has been blasting out email marketing messages. If you have used the service or know someone who has used the service, please comment on cost and effectiveness.

CACO- thanks, I just read it, and although it appears that we are done with the college recruiting process- I found it to be spot on, especially the post by GHOUSE. I admit, we did use a "consultant". Not a franchise service, and it was affordable. We found it useful, it definitely added value. I would not recommend it for everyone, and I believe there are probably more bad services than good. For us it made sense, we took a gamble, and it worked out. All that being said, my son may have ended up in the same spot without the service, but I keep telling myself I didn't waste the money!
