i dont agree with the rankings!
Looks like the bar is set very high for the Southeast District.

Interesting that Jefferson Forest was left out of the AA rankings entirely when they beat Brookville three times last year and only graduated one starter in the field and one pitcher.

I would have listed Powhatan # 1 in AA. Just my personal opinion.
I also begin to wonder if maybe Deep Run belongs on that AAA list. They have to be close to #10 at the very least.
James River (# 35) is the only VA team on PG's top 50 preseason rankings, posted yesterday. Also the only VA team in Collegiate Baseball's preseason top 30 (at # 18).
I think Baseball America's preseason list is due out tomorrow.

The honorable mentions were Osbourn Park, South County, Robinson, Halifax, Centreville, Stone Bridge, Oakton, Great Bridge, Deep Run and Colonial Forge.
James River is on at least 4 National Top 25 Lists around the 18-23 area. Baseball America, Collegiate Baseball, Max Preps and ESPN. Not bad.

The only Virginia schools I see on the MaxPreps top 100 list are #44 South County and #54 Great Bridge. Liking the other rankings better....
