Pretty excited

I feel like a balloon that has been over inflated and is about to burst. The only way I can think of to relieve this situation is to share my excitement.

My eldest was picked up by the Sioux City Explorers (in the Northern league) earlier this week.

Well tonight he got his first start (at 2nd base) and his first hit. A 2 RBI triple !!!

We are soooo excited for him.

Congrats, that is so exciting!

I checked their website and it looks like the Explorers are playing at the St. Paul Saints this weekend - did I read that right? I would love to catch a game if possible, although this is a really busy weekend for us. (04 son moving in to dorms on Saturday so we are driving down to help him move - he is SO excited to get back to school and his team - and on Sunday, 06 son is playing with his rock band in their biggest concert setting so far, so he is SUPER excited. Isn't it grand to see our kids happy and excited about life?)

Anyway, if you get a chance, please PM me and let me know if Robin has any advance notice of whether he will be playing against the Saints. Also, did he just graduate from Briarcliff? I just realized that he must have played with a summer teammate of my son, 04 RHP from MN, good kid.
