Hi - My son is a pitcher who is registered for this summer's Princeton Advanced Camp in August. I saw some old threads about the camp, but was looking for input specifically about how the camp works for pitchers. My son only pitches, does not play another position, and as it is a four day camp and obviously you can't pitch every day, I wondered what the schedule is like for pitchers and how much throwing they do. I'll also check with the camp staff, but thought it would be good to hear from someone who's been there. Thanks.

mr. casey75 - i attended the princeton camp last yr. when coach bradley separated us by position, the pitchers had a separate coach who i assume worked them on specific pitching drills. last yr, the stable of pitchers was pretty good -- not necessarily smart pitchers, but they had good stuff, and some threw pretty hard. your son will probably get alot of work in the scrimmages. tell him there will be coaches from other schools in attendance and he should make an effort to talk to them. make sure he has enough money to go to wawa's; everyone goes there for munchies before lights out. have fun, it was a great camp.
