My son was recently invited to a private MLB tryout. The scout had seen him pitch in a tournament. He will be a freshman headed to a DIII school in the fall. We figure depending how the tryout goes, his name might be placed on a watch list. He has attended "Pro-style" showcases before, but primarily as an outfielder and never to a MLB tryout. Can anyone let us know what to expect? Thanks!
