Private School Report

Had a chance to catch the Cape Henry v. Atlantic Shores game this afternoon. Just for those who were wondering, Jack Wynkoop is the real deal. Just asked any of the dozen or so Pro Scouts in attendance. Wynkoop pitched a complete game shutout. Threw in the 89-93 range. The 6'5"-6'6" lefty is a sure-fire MLB prospect. Final score 9-0.

No question, Jack is the real thing. The fun part is to watch all the coaches line up to pound their own chests and take credit for his success. Anyone watching knew this kid was the deal since he was 12!

I"m taking credit for Jack, and his dad, J.C. lol, trust me, jack will be successful beyond baseball, he does so much for the younger kids, but My U-14 team from years ago is something to be proud of, Michael Kroll, Kyle Rosso, Michael Rienerth, wynkoop, Sean Fraiser, CLay Frizzell, Brian Davidson, Will Callahan,,Austin Morin, hell, its a great golf team, lol, also had the Swoope brothers, good team, but wynkoop was so much fun, just a great teammate,

Sorry Pilots...saw him play 12&13U and he was good then, you only get credit for getting him on your team. lol Great kid and deserves all the success that comes his way.

Been watching him pitch since he was 9. I have to admit I never saw it coming when they were younger. He was a junk baller all the way and had occasional problems throwing stikes consistently until he got to about 14 when he picked up about 6" and 15 MPH. Great kid and family as well.
