Had the opportunity to catch the Cape Henry/Atlantic Shores game on Saturday morning. Jordan Sergent was on the mound for Atlantic Shores and pitched 6 very sold innings giving up 1 earned run and leaving with the game tied 3-3. Sergent also had a double (coming across following a base hit) and a 2-run homer. He single handily almost willed Atlantic Shores to victory. But it wasn't meant to be. Cape Henry prove to be too much in the bottom of 7 for Stamp (who couldn't get the knuckleball working) and scored the winning run on a walk-off single. 4-3 ballgame.
