Private topic rights not working?

I've looked around and I don't see where I can do anything, but I'll keep looking.

You know the funny part is that all the people that are worried about someone looking at their "Private Topics" and I thought I might see what was wrong in your private topic area. You know what, I coudn't even figure out how to find your private topics. Sorry, but that hit me as funny.

I had the same problem a couple of days ago. I clicked on "accept invite to private topic" and got error messages---could not reply to the webster who PT'd me.

Is this heaven?...

As one of the "paranoid" individuals, I'm glad to hear on one can figure it out!!!
Just kidding.
I've never hit "accept private topic" I just access the Private topics forum, click on the message and hit reply.

I started laughing when I read this thread. I never have had a problem with the PM feature, but I don't know squat about computers. Sandman, who has helped me with clips and who is very good with computers can't send a PM.

All I'm doing is hitting the same button I've always hit and it no longer works.

Oh well, maybe it comes w/ the territory of being a moderator? You no longer get to have private discussions?

As a moderator... Where do you go to edit or delete posts? Not that I want to do that to anyone but I don't see where I have the ability to do that. It appears I can edit or delete people I'm talking to through private messages, but I can't edit or delete any message in the "Pre High School" forum.

Anybody have an suggestions?

Do you see the file folder with the eraser in the bottom right corner of the post? Just click on it and you can delete or edit that post.

I see that icon, but only under my posts. I'm a moderator without power!!!!!

And if you don't figure out how to do it, you don't get the Moderator icon under you name/avatar!

That must be why yours doesn't say Moderator then.
