Dave VanHorn is a great coach and a great individual of unquestioned character. If these guys are suspended, I have no doubt the reasons are clear and valid. They may need to get back on the field, but in today's climate (nee, Arizona State) perhaps the best solution here and elsewhere is a tough one.
The reports here in Arkansas make it seem like these guys won't be back (Van Horn himself said it would be difficult). It was an NCAA rule that was broken, and Van Horn took the proactive step in suspending them as they wait to hear from the NCAA, probably next week.
This weekend either Auburn will encounter a team that is shell shocked, or one that has been brought together by the incident. I'd be on the latter.

I have seen reports of "ephedra" from message boards.
The initial rumor was steroids.
I hope they keep everything private.....unless it's roids.
If its roids, make it public so other players know it will be dealt with....and have a deterrent in place for any one sitting on the fence. The **** things are dangerous!
