Hey Stickmember,

The reason the Francona parts were inaudible is that there are two audio tracks for the vocals. You must have only one channel of audio inputted into your tv. If you're using a yellow/white/red hookup and only one of the white/red cables is plugged in, try switching it and the problem will be resolved. Some Tvs only have one input...just try putting the red input where the white ones supposed to go or viceversa and everything should work out fine. This is easily fixable. Call the 866 line or email me if you have any other questions regarding troubleshooting this issue.

As far as skipping, I have watched over a hundred copies and haven't seen any problems. Check it in your computer drive or a different dvd player and if it skips there too, then email me at rick@prospectmovie.com and I'll get you a replacement DVD ASAP at no cost. It's very very rare, but I'm sure there is a small chance for a dvd press error.

Hope that helps,

Rick
Cool Happening this Weekend. I talked to John Boggs, who is sports agent for guys like Mark Prior, Tony Gwynn, Jack McKeon. He gave an endorsement on the film and ordered a bunch of copies for his clients in the minor leagues. Also, all the big league guys in the movie are hot right now, especially Mike Cuddyer from the Twins. He's got a ten game hit streak going and hopefully he'll continue that today. And Dave Wright hit one off the wall yesterday against Randy Johnson. Exciting stuff.

I watched the film tonite. Great job! Kids will be impacted by getting important info "first hand" from people in the game.

I heard alot about "slowing the game down" in the film. I heard alot about "everything going so fast" very early in the season at college from my son.

The theme of adjusting to counter failure is prevelant, as it should be.

I think it was a scouting director who said "In the big leagues 10% of players belong there regardless. 10% of players don't really belong there, but got there because a coach or manager knew what they could do. The other 75% learned how to adjust, make the most of the opportunity in front of them, competed very well and worked their buts off to stay."

That only adds up to 95% though. Smile

I'm gunna give "The Prospect" 4 jumping green smiley's. greenjump greenjump greenjump greenjump

Seeing that there's the possibility of this site ending soon, thought I would let everyone know that Rick has started a new exciting project.

Sometime later this summer he plans to release yet another new documentary that will be an extremely important and educational baseball film. Hint - He will be filming at some of our events once again.

For those who have seen "Prospect" you will love the next one. For those who have not seen "Prospect", you really should!

Here's the link.
PROSPECT
Rick...

Please add my signature of "highly recommend" to your excellent production of "Prospect". My son and I wanted to hit the "rewind" once the movie was over to see it again. Especially since we know several of the coaches, scouts or players in the movie from attending their camps or other events through the years.

Every baseball coach at the Little League level and above, should be talking to their players and parents about watching "Prospect". It's just that good.

Great job!

add me and my son to the list of satisfied customers.

just bought the movie and we watched it last night.

Great, great info there for the younger player (AND PARENT) and for my son, who just finished 1st year of college, alot of great reminders.

I especially liked the one coach's comments comparing the odds of making it to MLB with the odds of becoming an astronaut laugh
Just got back from a 10 day road trip filming the next movie. Got some great footage and once again learned alot of stuff I wish I knew back when I played.

I also got to meet and interview Dennis Martinez, who had over 250 MLB wins. His son is going through the whole recruiting process now, and he had an interesting take on things. As soon as I get the footage loaded up, I may put some trailers up on the site... http://www.prospectmovie.com

I'm getting ready to announce a holiday promotion for Prospect where everyone who has purchased the movie can get some copies at cost in case they want to have some affordable gifts for baseball friends...a thank you to the people who came on board early. Expect the announcement by email on or around december 1.

Also, I just got the cover art ready for the next movie "Showcase" and will post a link here sometime before jupitor...looks really cool. I'm expecting the release date to be december 5.

Hope all is well and thanks again for the support on the hsbaseballweb.

Thanks go golf,

Hey Tom,

The jupiter games are all coming. We got hit with a couple monster projects out of the gate (jupiter, underclass, world) and our decisions on how to edit the games and post them were based more on scouting quality than speed of edit. We also had a hard drive fail with 25 completed jupiter games on it....I wanted to jump out the window that day!!!

But we're going to continue releasing jupiter games every day...and it will speed up too. Also, look for a complete rehaul on the home page soon. Thanks,

Rick
