No Major Major colleges here, but of 10 seniors on the team,
5 have signed for baseball 2 for football 2 close to signing for baseball and the last, if not for unfortunate circumstances, would have signed for sure.
The senior that will not be playing ball in college has made that choice on his own - was ready to move on to a new chapter and seek higher academic challenges. Everyone is happy!!
BTW, I don't know about "major major" programs, but I think Michael Boyle could've gone just about anywhere he wanted. Obviously he liked Radford but if he had wanted ACC or SEC it would've been there for him.
he KILLED the ball all yr, but had defensive issues. was the CONSUMATE team player and gave it everything he had. great kid. could argue he saved the game against tucker last night. apparently he could have gone, but had already decided to focus on academics (brilliant kid). so i did not have it totally right.

absolutely. he liked the school and the coach, and made the decision. he's smart, driven and happy. he might even have a future beyond college, but right now it's about academics.
