I am constantly trying to keep up to date with all the players of people on this site. Its great to see kids doing well and having fun at the game. My son is off to a great start this season to say the least. He is 16-25 with 4 hrs 7 dbls and a ton of rbi's. Check out ImpactBaseball.com they wrote a story today about a game he had last night. There are some pictures as well. Im always afraid to say anything about him because I dont want people to think Im one of those parents and or coaches that brags about his kid's. Also on the same article you will see a piece about one of our other talented sophs Pratt Maynard. Check it out. I dont think you have to be a subscriber to view it.

Its kind of funny but I caught myself trying to find out when DK TPM's son was going to pitch so I could check out the box on their website. I even caught the game on TV last year when he pitched so well in the ACC tourney and I think it was also in the regionals. I follow all the kids of fellow posters like they were my own players. We also have Prepsters son Robert Woodard with UNC. 1st team All ACC last year. Man what a player. What a young man. Its just alot of fun for me. There are several more and it is growing everyday. Thanks for the kind words as well.
Coach May,

Sorry to disagree, but as a pitcher's mom, I DO NOT LIKE your son's performance so far this year at all!!! rotlaugh

Just think about the effect he is having on some poor pitchers' moms there in NC!!! pull_hair I'm sure that if you explain it to him from this perspective, he will mend his ways - and try to hold it down to ONE homerun per game!

Kidding of course, we are all proud of Jeff! Best wishes to him this season!
good
Thank you Krak....and if you could do me one more favor please....when JT posts to us Westcoasters, and Wood follows it up with a new composition....could you just interpret for me? I'm a mile from the ocean....and all I could think of when I read JT's post this morning was tsunami.....was headed for the hills until I got his clarification....Thank you again.....
Folks thank you so much for your kind words. Its great to have a wonderfull baseball family to share things with, I really mean that. Well you wont believe what happened tonight. We played and Jeff hit a two run HR in his first ab. A two run HR in his second ab and BB in third ab and a single on fourth ab to right. Counting a HR in his last ab three games ago he has 5 HR's in his last 8 official abs and he is 9 for his last 10 over three games. Its getting ridiculous really. There is no way he can keep going at this pace. It seems that everytime he gets a pitch to hit he hammers it. Curveballs Change ups it doesn't matter. Again thanks for the praise and thanks for sharing this moment with me. He now through 10 games has 6 hr's and is hitting a ridiculous .628 with 19 rbi's. Its crazy. He's always been a hitter and always had power but come on. One tonight was out of cf which is 385' at our place and it was at least 50' out of the park if not more. Again thanks for letting me share this with all of you.
MNMOM,
If you are reading this how about starting a new thread called "game central" where folks can come on and post about son's games (or their own), articles, etc. I am finding it really hard to keep up this year with so many players and hard to keep up with teh HS players.

Coach May,
Thanks for filling us in on your son and thanks for trying to keep tabs on DK.

HHH3,
I had to read over your post a few times to realize it was yours! LOL

Thanks Krak. I just read your post on your son , wow! Sounds like you got some player on your hands. Good luck this year and keep us posted on his season.

TPM I think thats a great idea. Im having a heck of a time keeping up with all the players. Itsinthegame has two sons that are really good. And there are a ton more including your son. I would really like to be able to keep up with them. Im sure alot of us will cross paths this summer at East Cobb and other venues as well. Great Idea. By the way I mention DK in my prayers still today after you told us about his shoulder. I hope that he is doing fine and has a great season.
Coach May,
Have passed on to Julie my idea.
DK is fine, off to a slow start but feeling fine. He is just coming off off of a restricted pitch count. Every game he has pitched in so far has been a win for the team (he has one decision), so when he gets in there he feels he is contributing.
And I agree with Julie, your son is every pitcher's moms NIGHTMARE! Wink
