Psychological Testing

I am a mental skills coach in Dallas and I've coached a lot of people who have taken a psych test in preparation for the draft. I suggest you take it and ask for a copy of the results. This shows a belief that you have nothing to hide and an interest in increasing awareness in case there are any opportunities for the growth that the test identifies. Hesitating to agree to the test may hurt your chances of being drafted high by the club asking. Just my opinion.

Because a team wants to administer a psych test doesn't mean that you need an advisor, it's just one step they take in the consideration process, and FWIW, I think more has to do with the money (bonus)they are willing to pay out to each player more than anything else.
Many players get coached in preparation for the test, they are looking for specific answers that give them an idea of the players goals, values, maturity, motivation, etc.
There is no pass/fail for this test.

Most of the teams that had jerseyson take the psych test offered to reveal the results and some even gave him the phone number of the person that would be reviewing the test.

Tell your guy to be prepared to spend some time doing them. The tests ranged from 20 minutes to well over an hour.
