I have no doubt that they will sell every ticket. Jerry Jones sells all of the party pass tickets for regular season games which gets you the privilege of technically being in the stadium but you cannot see the field. You have to watch the game on the big screen. Most of us folks here in the DFW area have complained about the costs to attend Cowboy games since he started building the new place, but the stadium appears to be full every Sunday. Barnum knew exactly what he was talking about.

I took a tour of the building a couple of weeks ago with younger son's youth group, so I have satisfied my need to ever set foot in there again.

Obama will be home along with the Bears. The Packers are going to the Super Bowl. Now I have to figure out how they can lose to the Patriots 34-27 so I can win my pool.

I have a better deal!

For only $100 you can come watch the game at my house. I have spoken with NFL officials and this will also count towards the attendance. This will include all you can eat snacks and all you can drink soda and water. Beer is a steal at just $2 each.

Everyone will also receive a T-shirt of the winning team once the game is over. That way as the confetti falls on the players you can rock that team's gear and claim to be a diehard fan.

***If you wear a cheese-head -or- bring a terrible towel you will receive $10 off***

The Patriots in this year's Super Bowl?

There's only one way that's going to happen RJM.

Give Mario© a call. His rental rates are really reasonable.

Marvin Barnes and the Time Machine ...

Marvin was a not so bright professional basketball player. In college he committed a robbery wearing his state basketball championship jacket with his name on it. Not that being 6'9", black and on local tv playing basketball didn't ID him enough.

When Marvin was playing for the St Louis Spirits of the ABA, the Spirits were getting ready to depart on a flight that left Louisville, Ky., at 8 p.m. and would get into St. Louis at 7:56 p.m. due to a time-zone change. Upon looking at the schedule, Barnes said, “I ain’t getting on no time machine,” and rented a car for the trip.
