Public Training Camp Nov 20

Rett Varner and I are hosting a one Pre-Season Baseball Camp on November 20 at The Colony High School. Rett is a professional pitcher who starred at UTA the last few years. There are two sessions - one for grades 5-8 and one for grades 9-12. Mike Martin and Corey Farra will also be working these camps. Coach Martin is the head coach at Eastfield College. Correct! Mike Martin from FSU, a fantastic coach who beat up my teams plenty of times when I was at UVa, actually wanted to work this camp.

He called me to ask if I would, as a straight exchange, teach his guys to win the mental side of the game enough to play up to their potential in Omaha and finally win a CWS. He's won the ACC lots, had many All-Americans, and even coached Marshall McDougal to a 6 HR performance in one ACC game, but FSU hasn't done well at all in Nebraska in June. Unfortunately, I could promise no such thing... so no trade and he won't be at this camp.

We are offering a team rate for this camp of $250 while space is available. We have a great staff that includes a current professional, a college head coach, and me (a mental skills coach).
