question about travel ball team | High School Baseball Web

has anyone on here heard anything about the RIchmond Hitdogs? A former little leaguer of mine was approached about playing with them and asked my opinion, so i thought i'd do a little research. any one know anything? THanks!

What age group are we talking about?

he's 13, so for travel i'm assuming it would be 13u

Tony Butler the coach of these Hitdogs ?

don't know....all i know is the name of the team is Richmond Hitdogs.

My son played for the Hitdogs a couple (3 maybe) years ago. The guy running it was kinetic/frenetic, but a good enough guy, named Tony Butler. Team was so so but competed well with "elite" teams on many occaisions. For my guy it was a positive experience.If this is the coach,it will be serious without being overbearing, and you will be competitive.

In all the tourneys I have been to, I have not seen them in any events in that age group. Whatever that means...
