son got his first request via e mail to fill out a recruiting questionnaire this past week and one question perplexed me... it asked to name the 3 best HS players in your area. My son is a humble kid who wouldnt think of putting his name in that space but is this a trick question?

It seemed very odd to me.. never ran across anything like this in my daughter's recruitment. Advice appreciated...

Not a trick question.

They use the information to recruit other players.

Not often mentioned, but currently rostered collegiate players supply many recruiting tips to their coaches.

I wouldn't put my son's name on the list, but will other recruits enter your son's name?

You don't have to enter a response to the questionnaire.

Just leave it blank.
