For what its worth....congratulations to you on finding this site. I am pretty sure you will find it invaluable as you go on through your high school years. By simply coming on here and reading comments on various topics you will learn how to improve your game. There is some tremendous advice given here....and yes, there is some that is not so tremendous.

I realize you are in a hurry to "improve your game and get recognized by scouts"....but don't forget to enjoy playing. Baseball is a tough sport for many reasons, but one of the reasons is that there are no "quick fixes" to success.

Most players who achieve success in baseball do so by working hard every time they practice or workout, by hustling ALL the time, by maintaining a great attitude (even when things don't go well), by listening to their coaches and teachers, and by developing a committment, love and respect for the game. Unfortunately, these things take time and, sometimes, they are not the things lots of teenagers want to do. That is one of the reasons many talented players never achieve real success.

So, keep visiting this sight and learning. I would advise you to visit the timeline for high school players located on this site. It gives a great "road map" to follow as you proceed in high school. Keep on working hard....and keep us updated here on your progress. You will find this site to be quite supportive to those who are willing to work hard. Best of luck to you and your team!

When promoting yourself the only part of the preceeding statement anyone will care about is
"this year, 2008 baseball season i am playing varsity baseball as a sophomore." The rest is irrelevant to your baseball future.
