The RU administration need to decide what they are going to do...be happy with the status quo, or infuse the program with needed funds. With the new rules, the 5 or so schollys RU gives will only bring in 15 players...
...with the balance being true walk-ons.

Do you mean recruiting? College coaches don't "scout". Typically, the head coach doesn't handle the recruiting. He has an asst who handles that.

His staff had to do SOME recruiting to field a team.

Radford has some quality players. When you don't have good coaching and good practices at the D1 level it shows in the record. Defense has been hurting the team for years.

Not disputing your points but it goes a little deeper then that. If there is no commitment from the school to the program, if you do not have FT assistants, when the pay scale is what it is, you get what you get. WIth no commitment to the program there is no accountability on the coaching staff.

A small thing but last year the website wasn't even updated on a regular timely basis. If u can't even commit to the resourses to have that done what are the chances you are going to have a financial commitment to the program. Granted you can still have a coach who shows some interest but that again goes back to the schools commitment to the program.
