Radford Question

I have no affiliation with Radford, other that working for one of their rivals, Liberty Univ. To answer your question, though, I would recommend your friend call the coach's office and ask him when the walk-on tryouts are.

True Walk-on's as a general rule are far and few between at most programs. WIth that said there are always exceptions, and I would think that if there would be a time that walk-ons may have the best chance it might be the coaches first year since he did not recruit returning players and he may be looking to shake things up.

Just realize like any player besides talent, it also depends on programs need. A 3rd or 4th 3rd basemen may not be necessary while an extra corner outfielder might be.
