Did anyone besides Tychco and I see the Jesuit/Mustang catcher on TV during the Ranger game broadcast Saturday night?

They were interviewing some Harlem Globetrotter and he was standing next to him, waving to all. Priceless! Yea, Matty!

Saw the interview with the Globtrotter, so I'm sure I saw the young man.

Not to hijack the thread but did anyone see the Ranger game Sunday and the lack of hustle.

Watching the Rangers/Blue jays game yesterday there were two plays that were totally inexcusable.
The first was when Ian Kinsler was on first base with two out and Michael Young hit a fly ball to right field. Ian Just jogging around the bases failed to score when the left fielder dropped the ball.

Second, Hank Blaylock hits a shot to right field and it one hops the right field fence. Replay shows Hank jogging out of the batters box and ends up with a single.

Taught from T-Ball to hustle out ever ball.
By the way, Texas lost 5-4 in 10.
funneldrill,

I will say there is one non-high school team playing well in the Arlington area right now. UTA is 8-2 in it's last ten games. Just swept McNeese State for the first time in school history at Lake Charles this past weekend. But.......Oklahoma State at UTA today and the Longhorns in Austin tomorrow, did I mention they were 8-2 in their last ten games. Wink

One thing I will say though, you will see hustle for nine innings!

What in the world is this Ranger team thinking. They can not even get the funda"mentals" right. Horrible fielding, base running etc.... I would take Plano West or Rowlett to beat the Rangers right now. They might want to go out tonight and catch a real baseball game around the area and learn how the game is played...

OK off my soap box now..
