No love for Matheny, obviously the author of this article hasn't read "Three Days in August" about LaRussa. I think he mentioned Matheny every other page about something he was doing to help the club.
I think Mike will be a very good manager after studying under LaRussa.

Matheny has zero MLB wins as a manager. Why should be be rated above the twenty-seven with experience?
I am biased, but Washington would be #3 or 4 on my list.
As a Mariners fan, I hate to say it, but Sciosca (spelling?) is a very good manager. Ron Washington is good, but I think Sciosca is better.
