Son has likely letter and likes the coaches, campus, academics etc. Searched to see if there were any topics discussing coaching staff, baseball, competition etc but everything seemed pretty dated. Any recent experience with the staff/program?

How can you not love Emory? I wish my son got the look there, he was in the mix but wasn't meant to be. The only thing I can tell you about the program is second-hand. A kid from my town played for them (we are NorthEast), and was a great two-way player. He developed while there, played on a cape league championship team, and then played his extra covid year at Duke. Signed with Cubs. I hadn't followed up on him so just googled, and cubs lasted 2 months now he's a venture capitalist!
Great school! Always a competitive team; deep roster. Downtown Atlanta; nice area. Son's NESCAC played them for out of conference play; great competition - fun weekend.
Not quite what you were looking for - but some insight.
Don't know much about the specifics of the Emory program, but I toured the facilities last Spring ... in addition to the beautiful field, field house, bleachers, press box and cages, they have a "campus life" pavilion with a stage, several nice tables, 3 very nice charcoal grills, separate mens and womens bathrooms with running water, and flat screen TVS. Best tailgate setup ever; across the street from the field, you could watch most of the game from there.
Can't really speak about the program but the coach sat next to us in Atlanta when he was watching a potential recruit. We had a great conversation for a few innings. Seemed like a genuinely nice guy.
We had same experience as Gunner...Very positive! RC went out of his way to explain that admissions wasn't on board and that they had to go in a different direction. He actually helped 2022 think about his other options. Most disappointing miss of the recruiting process.
