Say a pitcher has a 2-seam, and 4-seam fastball, or 2-seamer and cutter. When you hit ,how can you tell the difference between them? Do all fastballs have the same spin?

Unerground, if your trying to pick up what type fastball is thrown your gonna be taking a seat.That is a useless skill to teach.....just my 2 cents. Teach them to hit the one up in the zone. Fastball curve slider or whatever.
