I agree that it's a felony to spill ale but ordinary beer is not afforded constitutional protection by the state of NC ...

I don't know what you all are complaining about -- in the last few days I have received phone calls from no less than America's Mayor, Rudy Gulliani (tracked me down all the way out here in California), a host of local politicians, AND (best of all) our own Governator, Ahnold has called me at least once every night this week. I'm getting a little embarrassed at all the attention - sure hope Maria Shriver doesn't think that I'm a tease... If Curt Schilling would call, I just don't know what I'd do. I'm verklempt and more confused then ever...
P.S. In my experience, beer to a person from Wisconsin is like water -- the real test is whether they take their old-fashioned's sweet or sour.... (and what do they use as their alcohol base.

Definitely one of my better memories was in Kimberly WI way back when. We were there for the fastpitch softball world series. Town went all out. Set up tour of paper factory. Helped get tickets to preseason Packer game. Little old ladies sitting in the stands beer in each hand and loving life. Town had a get together for the teams with plenty of beer, WI cheese and sausage. Pressure cooked corn on the cob in 50 gallon drums with the shucks still on. Pull the shucks back for a handle and dip in 5 lb coffee cans full of melted butter. We only one one game, lost one in 18 innings 1-0 and I came back 5 lbs heavier. Who'd a thunk it!
