These figures come out every year, but are very scewed due to season ticket holders. For example, I have noticed for several years that Alabama's numbers are high and among the top in the nation, but if you attend the games you see a different story. Their attendance is good when they are winning, but once they go on a loosing skid the empty seats start showing up. But, they are never actually (what come through the gate and takes a seat) what they are recorded due to the counting of the season ticket holders who may or may not be there.
I'm not picking on any one team, but when you have a televised game and 50-75 people in the stadium it really looks bad!
This was the case a few weeks ago with Tennessee and last weekend at Alabama wasn't much better (estimate of 150-300). It ought to cause an AD to take a hard look at WHY???
