If you are one of the top high school athletes you are going to be recognized, and you don't have to spend any extra effort trying to get into the best school? But what if not everyone knows about you. One of the best things you can do is get involved in some of these websites out there that promote players and allow them to communicate with any school they wish. Whether you are just trying to get your name on the radar (whether early or late) or you are trying to make that good impression to move yourself up, they are good ideas. It is your chance to advertise yourself. There are several of these out there, but make sure you find one that is involved directly with the coaches. An example is listed below (my personal favorite), but it isn't the only one out there. Join multiple ones if you have to. A simple google search will pull them up for you.
