July 1 after your junior year for them to call you about anything other than a camp. Mail can be about camps, e-mails... not really sure, seems like those were a little less restricted, but still mainly about camps. This is all coming from someone who isn't an expert--remember that!

Schools can start sending you letters on Sept. 1 of your junior year. I believe emails can occur at any time. Text messages were just banned by the NCAA, effective Aug. 1.

sorry if Im getting on anyones nerves, but by junior year do you mean a sophomore that will be a junior inn high school in a coupkle of days, or a junior going to be a senior? I just cant get this right for some reason.

The first day they can call you is July 1 AFTER your Junior year and BEFORE your senior year has technically started. Infield meant Junior year like while you were a junior.
