I was wondering since TJ surgery has become so common and since the recovery prognosis is so positive why would so many colleges and pro scouts cease recruiting a high school kid who had to have the procedure? My son had several D1 colleges, JUCO and MLB scouts actively persuing him and after the word got out about his surgery there has been practically dead silence? Fortunately a couple of JUCO coaches decided to honor their scholarship offers so my son has a place to play next year but all the D1 guys dissapeared and he will probably not get drafted this year as a result.
