My son will be a junior this year 2013 grad. Was wondering recruiting rules as far as what kind of contact coaches can make as far as emails, mail, calls, visits etc., any clarification would be appreciated.
Can anyone confirm if there is a recruiting rule change effective August 15 this year regarding coaches now allowed to call recruits(1X per month) starting September 1st in their Junior year?
looks like an old timeline thats been on this site for a while. I thought there were some changes like coaches being able to send mail or email in aug of Junior year
Thank you. Sorry for being so ignorant but what are the e-mails likely to say? In other words, could they be offers? Or, could they be invites to visit the school?
Don't really see too much old about it for a 2013. Pretty close to reality to what our our 2011 experienced.
Early emails rarely have offers. Offers are nearly always discussed in person or over the phone. If a college coach was really anxious about talking directly to a player at this time he would usually ask the HS or summer coach to have you give the college coach a call.
Most first contacts are introductory combined with a questionnaire or an invitation to call.
When you block a person, they can no longer invite you to a private message or post to your profile wall. Replies and comments they make will be collapsed/hidden by default. Finally, you'll never receive email notifications about content they create or likes they designate for your content.
Note: if you proceed, you will no longer be following .
