That was a pretty good game. I enjoyed it until I had to leave for my son's high school game when it was tied in the 9th. Verlander and Lester looked pretty good for their first game. I thought the scorekeeper was a little rough on Cabrera's error....that should have been a base hit. Tiggers will be tough this year.

Agree completely on the Miggy error, the guy took one off the grill 3 weeks ago, so excuse him for being a little lax to jump in front of another bullet. So much for the home team scorer love??

Great pitching duel till the starters left the game for sure.

BTW check out the mlbtv.com. All the games for all the teams are available live or archived to watch at your convenience. At home I run it thru the pc to the bigscreen tv as its high def most of the time. For those of you with mobile devices you can also get the atbat 12 app for free that allows you to watch any/all games on ipad, iphone, and i think android. Sigh. If I could just get my ipad to reliably connect to the wireless at work.

Naw, I poo poo him all the time, as I've always done with Tigers closers since Willie. I was spoiled by his effectiveness and ability to not give up baserunners and increase the general anxiety of an already tense situation.

I guess you weren't a Todd Jones fan?
