Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute

RPI is a great school in a wonderful setting (I used to live just across the Hudson River from the campus and my uncle is a long-time graduate). Anyway, math and science are heavily emphasized, but I would imagine there are degrees. You ought to send an e-mail to the school.

I will add, the hockey is probably better than the baseball .

I dont know about hockey being better than baseball here as RPI is # 30 in the preseason polls and had a great year last year

By the way the Coaching staff is great-- been togther for a bit and work well together

You cannot go wrong here either with academics or baseball

They are D1 in hockey, I believe, and, I'm not sure how it has been lately, but they have put a number of great players in the NHL and Olympics, including Adam Oates, George Servinas and other, and have won the national championship. Baseball, of course, is D3 (I think) and not at the same level, unless things have changed.

But don't get me wrong. I strongly advocate RPI in many, many ways. My only point is that they have a very rich and high level hockey history, along with one of the greatest on-campus arenas that can be found anywhere. In fact, I believe Mario Lemieux made his pro debut in that building.

Just wanted to say I just got home from visiting RPI and it was wonderful. The school, the team, and the coaching staff were all amazing! 2 thumbs up!

we live in saratoga, north of where the school is but close, my mom went there and we have been there many times. Hockey dominates the school but baseball is very strong there. They do have a good business school obviously not as well known as engineering, but none the less is on par with U of Richmond. Great scool and environment to be in
