Tear all the old tape off. Now, the cheapest way is to use athletic tape, much like you would do with a wood bat. The only thing that you may not care for with this is the vibration factor. Thicker tape will absorb a little more. Just go with the tape and slap some pine tar on it and let 'er rip!
There are several vendors on Amazon that sell the Easton grips. My son was a big fan of Combat grips, to the point where we bought a bunch from an eBay vendor a couple years ago, and we just re-grip any bat he gets with those now.
Easton grip is pretty easy to find. Sports Authority carries it. Or as others have suggested it can be found online. One important piece of information, after taking the old grip off make sure all the old tape, residue, and any dirt is removed from the handle. If its is still a little dirty the new grip will start to come off pretty quickly. Also I find it helpful to secure the very top of the grip with a little electrical tape.
I just bought Easton replacement grip at Sports Authority this weekend to tape up a fungo. $5 or so.
Sports Authority, Dick's, Big5 Sporting Goods, or any other major sporting goods store. I always replace my son's grip with a leather grip from Easton (Usually within the first two weeks of owning a bat). He manages to destroy the rubber grip quickly. The leather grips usually last the life of the bat since it doesn't stretch.
it usually cost a couple bucks more, but was been worth it with my son.
