I have two old bats that I want to retape because the old tape is falling off. I like the feel of Easton grip and demarini grip but I can't seem to find it. And also can I make a tapered handle with the new bat grip? I am also wondering if I use the same strategy as a wood bat or is there a different way to tape it? Thanks.

Easton grip is pretty easy to find. Sports Authority carries it. Or as others have suggested it can be found online. One important piece of information, after taking the old grip off make sure all the old tape, residue, and any dirt is removed from the handle. If its is still a little dirty the new grip will start to come off pretty quickly. Also I find it helpful to secure the very top of the grip with a little electrical tape.

Sports Authority, Dick's, Big5 Sporting Goods, or any other major sporting goods store.  I always replace my son's grip with a leather grip from Easton (Usually within the first two weeks of owning a bat).  He manages to destroy the rubber grip quickly.  The leather grips usually last the life of the bat since it doesn't stretch.

it usually cost a couple bucks more, but was been worth it with my son.
