Seems like somewhere in there, they should've mentioned that W&M reached the championship game Sunday on an extra-inning HR by Large.
But that's just me sticking up for a Cardinals alum!

There was also an article today in the Virginia Pilot about the Tidewater players who helped carry W&M into the NCAA's.

Mixed emotions on Sunday. I was very sorry to see UVA, really the state's only shot at participating in Omaha, go down.
But as I once wore the green & gold, it was great to see what has to rank as the top win in program history.
BTW, it looked like a Richmond area reunion in the ECU-W&M game, with Cullen Large (James River) and Ryan Hall (Cosby) helping anchor the Tribe, while Bryce Harman (L.C. Bird), Luke Bolka (Atlee) and Charlie Yorgen (St. Chris) were all in the starting lineup for ECU's win in the title game. Not sure how Harman went .247 on the season, nor Yorgen .271, as neither looked capable of making an out on Sunday!
