Which teams did you play? First Colonial lost to Mills Godwin 5-0 and Hanover 6-5, and beat Varian about 8-2, and Midlothian 7-6 to go 2-2.
salem played midlothian varina and lost to them then beat brooke point 9 to 1 and beat stafford 8 to 5
it sure was nice to get our first wins underneath our belt...lets go get more!
Godwin was def the quality team in the tournament. They had pitching that was awesome. I think they almost had 2 no hitters and 2 shut outs in 4 games. Awesome.
That was expected from mills godwin, they are ranked in the top twenty in the nation.

yeh, hanover facilities were awsome. Kempsville went 1-3. losing to Brooke park, Midolatian and Mills Godwin (6-0) and rallied to win their last against viranna 9-5. notables, Bill Henson, Perry Olinick and Kevin Crossman all had doubles, Ben Lee went 3-4, (1 double) 2rbi's 2 stolen bases. He added 1 hit a 2 Rbi's against midalothan and batted .416 for tournament. Kyle German picked up his first win (first start) of season on the mound.
