Roger Clemens gives in, agrees to play for Congressional softball team
After five hours of relentless pressure from a Congressional panel on Tuesday, pitching legend Roger Clemens finally relented.
“Okay, okay, okay. Yes. I’ll do it,” said Clemens. “I cave. You got me. I’ll play for the Congressional softball team. My goodness, you guys are tough.”
Rep. Henry Waxman (D-CA) was pleased with Clemens’ statement.
“Woot! Woot! Woot! We got Clemens!” said Rep. Waxman. “You Senate a-holes are screwed this season. You’re going down ... OH-Yeah!”
The Congressional panel is next hoping to call Barry Bonds in hopes of getting a power bat in the middle of its lineup
