Rookie pitcher Hochevar bides his time

Seems like a few years ago another guy did basically the same thing (Matt Harrington?), turned down around $5 million from the Rockies, then bombed in Independant Ball.

Best of luck to him, but he's taking a heck of a risk.

2seamer, ironically they are on the same indy team, the FW Cats. They had their opening game tonight and the Cats won. I met both of them this evening.

Should be interesting.

I know little of what actually went on with Luke and his negotiations. Luke has been nothing but a first-class person here in Knoxville. My personal opinion is that he's been the victim of "circumstances".

Here's hoping everything works out for him.

It worked for the Drew brothers, to the tune of almost 10 million.

Lets hope it works for Luke.
