Rubber cleats are mandatory!!

We just had our pitchers wear their tennis shoes to pitch and change to bat. Hassle but what do you do

We have that rule at all the BLD parks here. The kids generally just wear their tennis shoes although turf shoes are nice too. We have never had any problem with slipping and none of the kids have ever complained to my knowledge. They are beautiful parks and great for the younger kids to play on. Beware though, concessions are very pricey and they don't allow you to bring anything in, including water (at most, not all) and in your parts, you will need lots of water!!

Doughnutman- Have him wear tennis shoes when he pitches.

I have a pair 13.5 that son outgrew here- but tomorrow is friday. Tennis shoes are fine usless you get a little rain. Turf shoe will work great and are easier to find. You might look at football cleats too -most but not all are rubber.
