Runner on 2nd and Runner on 3d with no outs. Batter hits ball to SS who fields ball as R2 runs over him. SS still makes throw to first ahead of batter but R3 scores. Blue called R2 out by interference and sent R3 back (no run scored) but awarded the batter 1st base (dead ball after interference) even though the throw beat him. I say R2 is out by interference (as well as being tagged), the batter is a force out for a weird double play, and R3 must return to third base. Reason being: after R2 is out by interference rule no baserunner may advance but the batter is still at risk until he safely acquires first base. What do you say??

The umpires made the correct ruling but they should have killed the ball imediately so there wouldn't have been a play at first. This why R3 goes back to third and the BR gets first.
