Runner on 1st steals, Ball Four to batter, interference call???

Anyone watch Texas vs ASU game. The chicken or the egg? Runner steals, pitch is delivered and it is ball four. However catcher still throws to second and the home plate umpire call interference on the hitter? How can you interfere with a ball four pitch? Anyone care to explain?

I was watching and failed to see where the interference occurred. Did not see where the ASU batter impeded the bad throw by the Texas catcher. Is this a protestable call?

I just made a post on this myself. I agree that I can't see any type of BI on the play even with the one step towards first. It was just a terrible throw that got away.
