runners on 2nd & 3rd

Tie game 1 out last inning home team at bat.

Ground ball on the infield they throw it home in time to stop the winning run. Runner takes the catcher out (no slide no attempt to avoid contact). Ball gets away from the catcher on contact and the runner on second comes around third and slides home. What you got? Better yet what you think they called?

I'm going to assume maliscious contact. The runner from third is out and ejected. Dead ball and runner from second returns to either second of third (not real sure) but you can't allow a team to benefit from a cheap shot.

If it a league that has a slide or avoid rule then put the trail runner back at second. You return the trail runner to the last base touched at TOI. I will be as punitive as possible on a cheap shot.

They did not rule malicious contact. They did not rule interference. They did call the runnner out for not sliding. They did allow the runner from second to score. Game over have good night

So they didn't enforce the rules on the book, then made up ones that weren't, nice.
