This just reinforces my opinion that some(and the number is increasing) parents are crazy.
I don't see how "times have changed". One man punches another, with the result that he was charged with felony battery. What's new?
Well...maybe I should have chose different words. Just thought it was interesting and decided to share it. Nothing more...
I'd say it just means these matters are being given attention more often.
Wasn't that long ago when at my smaller high school that a variety of people getting in fist fights was not uncommon...even less than 20 years ago there are lots of stories of parents and others fighting amongst each other about (stupid) things. These just didn't end in criminal charges whereas now they would, which is why I imagine I don't hear about these things anymore.
