No doubt. Hes the best hitter for UT as a freshman. With the type recruits they bring in every year, thats astounding.

Another Freshman doing great is Jacob House (Mansfield Timberview) at Arkansas. Three dingers on the year and looks like he is getting to start in a few conference games.

How is KDson and roomies doing out in El Paso this spring?

They are hanging in there. Josh Choate is on fire, hitting around .400. I expect him to move on to a D1 as he's getting highly recruited right now.

Justin Tramp is still rehabing his shoulder injury, and is DH'ing, but the guy in front of him is a monster.

John Coin is still trying to get some velocity back.


My son is pinch running in a lot of games, and going in games late as a defensive substitution.

El Paso's pitching is suspect at best. Lots of double digit games and they are playing the kids that can crush the ball to try to keep up.
