Well maybe that will quiet those baseball folks (including those on this site!) who believe concussions don't happen in baseball.

I believe there is a lot to come regarding CTE. I have to wonder if there won't be studies done on individuals who have no known history of head trauma and see if any of them have CTE or anything like it. It seems every individual diagnosed with it so far has been someone who we would suspect may have it. But are we missing people with CTE simply because they don't have the history to warrant that investigation?

Right now there is a strong correlation between head trauma and CTE. My question is this: Is this correlation because that's who these researchers are studying?

Will be interesting to follow...

I'm with you! But I've had people tell me on this site that concussions don't happen in baseball. Apparently I was only pretending to play baseball, but wasn't actually doing so when I suffered 5 different concussions growing up...
