Well-(sigh)- Stuff had an incredible JUCO season. Final stats are: 203AB, 84R, 103H, .502BA , 96RBI,20-2B, 10-3B, 13HR, 23SB/23SBA, 181TB, 140 TOB, 13SO, 29BB, .963 FLDAV. All-Conference, 1st Team, All-Region 1st Team, Team MVP. Won't know on All-American for a few weeks now. Has national leading numbers in hitting for Div II at http://www.njcaa.org/index.cfm Going where? Choices are all his. Big offers on the table. Three official D1 visits set up in the next two weeks. He may return for his second JUCO year and make a change next year.Enjoying the ride.

Keep him close to home, I would figure Mike Dee and UIC are always looking for gamers with those type of numbers. Great year, That's awesome!

rz1- Give your son a call and tell him to say hi to Stuff when he's on campus tonite and tommorrow.

That's cool, and I will give Ryan a heads up. From a parents point of view, we could not be more staisfied with the "big picture" at UIC. I am convinced that the reminders about the importance of academics and just "doing the right things" that are constantly relayed from the coaching staff are contributing factors in Ryan taking the next step on and off the field.
