Thanks all for the support for my sons TJ experience. It is amazing what the medicine man does to fix the body. I know more about the elbow than I care to and now understand that the evolution of man did not intend for him to throw a ball overhand in a repitious manner at a high rate of speed. There must be an unknown biblical passage that says "After 100 pitches God created Dr. James Andrews".

Ryans surgery went well and he already has the 2/16/07 Georgia Tech series circled on his calendar.

As much as I hope that no one has to go to Alabama Sports Medicine, the staff, the processes, and the professionalism is first class all the way. It is a "well oiled machine".

Every room and hallway in this large clinic is lined with framed jerseys and signed pictures of athletes the Andrews group has worked on. I spent a lot of "waiting room time" just gawking at the collection of athletes that have been through the clinic and thought it was a most complete collection of Hall of Fame IR memorabilia from all sports that exists in the world. That is until the Sports Medicine shuttle driver told me that because of a lack of wall space there were 400 items warehoused, now I know it has to be the biggest collection.
