Got word this evening about the passing of College of St Rose Head Coach Bob Bellizzi.
Our thought are with his family as well as Nick Davey and the staff along with the St Rose Team.

Sad indeed. My condolences to the Bellizzi family.
Very sorry to hear-- I knew from Coach Davey just the other day that Coach Bellizzi was in the hospital.

Thank you for eaching out and showing your support everyone. this is a sad time for all of us that was associated with the saint rose "family". Personally, and I think I can say this for everyone thats known him that there was no one that loved baseball as much as he did. He will be missed deeply, theres no one I looked up to or took more away from in this game than coach Bellizzi.

On behalf of the entire Saint Michael's College Baseball program we would like offer our condolences to all of you at St.Rose. We were all very saddened to hear about the loss of Coach Bellizzi...his legacy will surely live on for years to come @ St.Rose and he touched many lives.
Look forward to possibly meeting you next year Coach Davey. I believe our Head Coach (Seth Cole) is going to contact you guys about a possible doubleheader (we're doing our 07 schedule now). Again...our prayers are w/ you all.
