Southern Illinois University continued its winning ways on Saturday defeating Indiana State 11-2 at Carbondale, Illinois

Brett Maugeri continued his hitting ways by getting 1 2rbi hit early in the game to help the Salukis move their conference mark to 2-0 on the year. Maugeri also had 2 walks in the contest where he started in left field.

Salukis conclude their 3 game conference set today with Indiana State who is now 4-12 on the year

SIU SALUKIS pitching fell apart on Sunday against Indiana State as they lost a lead after 4 innings and dropped a 15-6 decision to the Sycamores. The Salukis used 7 pitchers in the contest.

The loss dropped siu to 2=1 in conference play.
