San Diego, North County 18U Travel Team: a few spots avaliable

We have a few spots open for an 18U team in North County San Diego this summer. The season runs roughly June through September and the team will be playing USABF league games plus additional local tournaments. The program is geared towards strong high school level players ages 15-18 and has a history of producing top college and MLB players including a first round MLB draft pick last year. I am not affiliated with the program but my son plays on the team and we are looking to fill the roster so we can finalize the summer schedule. My son is almost 16 and we live in Encinitas. He plays at La Costa Canyon. He is looking for a summer team 2011. Not sure if your post was for this summer or last summer-

That would have been for last summer. However many of the LCC kids have played over there I think he might be talking about the one run by the guys over at Palomar JC.

There are 16U options as well as an 18U team. You can PM me, and I'll dig up the guy that runs this programs (if PlankSpanker isn't watching the thread).

Encintas was my stomping ground before leaving for Fla. last summer so we might have crossed paths, or I might know who your kid is. Surprisingly not a ton of options for teams up there. I think LCC has an off-season team, but you probably know that and are looking for something else.
