Having "mastered” understanding the eligibility requirements for NCAA for D1 and D2 baseball, I find I still have a question I cannot find the answer to.

In using sliding scale for D1, do both scores have to equal the scale or just one of them?

Using 2.5 GPA as an example does the SAT equal 820 AND ACT equal 68 or is one of them meeting the score sufficient?

The D2 is more clear as it says 2.0 GPA, SAT is 820 AND ACT is 68.

May be a dumb question!

You only have to meet one of the test score criteria. You can also blend scores from multiple test administrations to get your best score. For example, you take the SAT in January and make a 450 math and a 300 on the critical reading. Take it again in March and get a 425 on the math and a 390 on the critical reading. They'll take the 450 math from the January test and the 390 critical reading from the March test.

Not only is that possible, but I've also heard from two sources that you can take the best scores from both the SAT and the ACT and put them together. Apparently the schools have equivalency to where a 25 total on the ACT equals a 1200 on the SAT for example. So they can take the individual scores and put them together.

I did hear however that with the SAT, it only applies to taking it 3 times. Anything beyond that, and the others must count as a total score for every subsequent test.
